K. W. Dorrington aims to provide the client with the best and honest advice on all aspects of improvements to your property, and at a competitive rate. Kevin is a Chartered Architectural Technologist MCIAT as well as a Chartered Building Engineer MCABE (C.build E).
Our service includes far more than just the advise and preparation of the plans. Our service always includes the application submissions. We act as your agent – any queries are made to K. W. Dorrington. We monitor the applications and liaise with the relevant authority to ensure an efficient determination of the application. We act as your agent for the Planning and Building Control approval stages, but also the less usual such as Water Authority applications and Land Registry details if required.
Our site surveys are carried out to enable us to prepare the necessary but also to anticipate any future challenges – such as constraints, drain locations and boundary issues etc. Our considerable construction experience allows us to offer expert knowledge that isn’t just limited to the architectural aspect. This is particularly of use to developers in the private rented sector.
We treat every project as unique, yet draw on our considerable experience to help ensure that the overall project is delivered to your expectations.
Every project is client lead with the brief being discussed, agreed and tailored to your individual needs. We have carried over two thousand projects over the last 35 years. We are proud that a large proportion of our work is derived from recommendation and returning clients.
